How Can I Help?
Thank you for all your support through the years. Alert CDC has been assisting in the development of
economic opportunities, providing educational resources, housing assistance, and improving the health
of the most underserved groups in our community since 1998.
Even during the pandemic, we have been blessed to still deliver on our promise to hep underserved
families in our community. Whether it was providing rental assistance backpacks with school
supplies, meals to seniors, feeding first responders, partnering with other organizations, or providing
“Coats for Christmas” for elementary students in our community. The number of donors and
volunteers who work with us each year has helped us improve the quality of life in our community by
helping us meet people at their point of need. None of this would have been possible without the
involvement and contributions from our community. Alert CDC in partnership with other community organizations bridges the academic gap by ensuring all students, have the tools they need to succeed. The Alert CDC Family Fun Fest will be held on August 6th, and we are asking for your support to deliver on our promise to assist children, their parents, teachers and our community. For fifteen years, ALERT has spearheaded
the Back-to-School Bash Family Fun Fest community event donating over 12,000 backpacks
with school supplies, 8,000 Hygiene Bags, 2,000 Haircuts, 2,000 Health Screenings, 600 Teacher
Bags and 300 pairs of Nike Shoes to the children and youth of our community.
